So here it goes
I'm blogging at work
I have already written 3 blogs for this site, but I haven't post them yet.
I was told long ago that the pen is mightier than the sword, and writing sheds light on a dark world.
I believe this to be true so here I will share with you some of my hopes, aspirations, and disappointments.
Sometimes they will be in the forms of poetry, songs, or fables it depends on my mood.
Today I found out a very brave and intelligent individual i know lost his battle to cancer. This morning I saw his wife she smiled at me and I didn't recognize her. I feel so guilty I'm a faces person who forgot a face! But, when I heard her voice I instantly realized who she was. I asked her about him, her husband the revolution idealistic hippie, who had fathered four children and inspired people wherever he went. She simply smiled at me, lost for a second in memory then told me "has pasted on this morning." I hurt for her, I knew the love they shared it powered rooms and lit their sun. I saw the loss in her eyes, my heart ached to see it.I had talked to him when she wasn't present several times. He told me how much he loved her and how much she meant to him. So I wondered if she truly knew, I was inspired to write it for her as he said it. But, when I returned she was gone. I hope I see her so I can give her the beatitude of his love for her. From the kindness of strangers we can be comforted.
